todays session took place in the giant hill connectiong mexico to the unites states, while shooting some of this pictures the Border Patrol was keeping a close eye on us.

we didnt stay too long, just long enough to snap some good pictures down that god forsaken hill, which by the way Wichi rode up without stoping riding fixed.

Riding up..no gears no fear.

you know..in a few days i'll be getting my own fixed gear, but im pretty sure i wont be trying anything like this any time soon.
the ground is harder than my face...i think that's a fact that's been established by gravity plenty of times before.

Time for the Power Skid.

once we got that hill all done and over with we went back to the city to take some more pictures of the crazy mexican drivers.
things are different in mexico and there is no such thing as a bike lane.

so for all those riders out there, beware, some people really have a problem with cyclists in the road.

that by the way, is my favorite picture of this whole day. mexican busses are incredibly mest up, they havent changed since the day i was born.

Tecate Baja California, a small but active city.

These fotos are incredible! What a fantastic series. Riding in MX is fascinating. Since I live in San Diego, I like to ride around Tijuana w/ my friends often. We have a little word-of-mouth transnational bike crew, Los Cruzadores. Unfortunately, people have been afraid of riding in TJ lately. You should join us on a ride around TJ w/ us. I'm sure you know some sick spots!
